Supplier-matching process

Compare Moped Manufacturers Through One RFQ Basis

MopedMatch Procurement helps business buyers prepare a consistent specification, approach candidate original manufacturers, and compare responses without treating a family brochure as evidence for the exact quoted moped. We do not manufacture vehicles, hold inventory, grant approvals, or promise that a supplier can meet an unverified requirement.

Quotation controls

Why two moped quotes can appear comparable but are not

  1. 01

    Product label versus exact configuration

“Moped” may cover different frame geometry, engine displacement or motor rating, battery chemistry, usable capacity, brake layout, wheel size, speed class, payload, lighting, and trim. We place the exact fields in the RFQ and request a specification sheet tied to the offered configuration.

  2. 02

    Nominal battery versus usable energy

An electric quotation must separate nominal pack capacity from usable kWh, and identify the connector, AC charging power, charger inclusion, range test basis, rider or cargo load, ambient conditions, and replacement-battery terms. A headline range alone is not a duty-cycle result.

  3. 03

Unit price versus landed procurement scope

We ask suppliers to itemize the vehicle, customization, prototype or sample, inspection, documents, packing, inland transport, freight, and destination-side exclusions on the same Incoterm. Taxes, registration, insurance, and local services remain separate unless expressly quoted.

  4. 04

    Supplier document versus destination acceptance

FMVSS, EPA, battery, test, or quality documents must be checked against the exact vehicle category, configuration, model year, and destination. Company-level certificates or a related model document do not establish approval for the quoted unit.

Coordinated in the sourcing brief

Requirement capture, candidate-factory outreach, quotation normalization, clarification questions, sample or prototype discussion, inspection-scope planning, document requests, and logistics handoff can be coordinated around the buyer’s written brief.

Retained by buyer and qualified parties

Supplier approval, commercial acceptance, contract review, payment decisions, import-of-record duties, regulatory interpretation, registration, insurance, and final acceptance remain with the buyer and the appropriate professional parties.
