Our buyer-side role

How MopedMatch Procurement Works for Business Buyers

We organize moped requirements and supplier responses around the buyer’s operating duty. Our work begins with the specification and ends with a clear handoff of quotations, open questions, evidence requests, and delivery scope. MopedMatch Procurement is an independent sourcing service; factory ownership, dealership authorization, import-of-record work, regulation, lending, insurance, and registration remain outside its role.

Requirement discipline

Four facts anchor every supplier conversation

01

Duty

Describe route distance, stops, speed environment, rider and cargo load, gradients, climate, parking, charging or fuel access, and expected operating hours.

02

Configuration

Fix engine or motor, usable battery where applicable, transmission or controller, braking, wheel and tire size, payload, storage, lighting, and customization boundaries.

03

Quantity

State total units and any split by powertrain, color, trim, graphics, cargo equipment, charger, spare parts, or destination so factories quote the same scope.

04

Destination

Identify the US state or port, requested delivery window, Incoterm, inspection plan, packing, documents, and destination-side parties involved in acceptance.

Responsibility map

Each procurement stage has a different decision owner

Requirement stage

Buyer input: operating duty, mandatory specifications, quantity, budget posture, supplier preference, destination, and timing. Our coordination: identify ambiguity, structure the RFQ, and mark which alternatives require prior approval.

Quotation stage

Factory input: offered configuration, MOQ, price basis, lead-time estimate, inclusion list, customization process, and available documents. Our coordination: normalize the comparison and return gaps rather than silently treating unlike offers as equivalent.

Evidence and delivery stage

Buyer and qualified-party decision: supplier approval, sample or prototype acceptance, contract, payment, inspection findings, exact-model document review, import and registration requirements. Our coordination: maintain the request list and clarify the logistics handoff.

Questions buyers ask about the sourcing role

No. We request exact-model and configuration evidence for review. Regulatory applicability, import acceptance, registration, and operating rules must be confirmed with qualified destination-side parties.

No blanket supplier approval is implied. The buyer determines qualification criteria and final approval after reviewing legal identity, factory evidence, samples, documents, commercial terms, and any agreed inspection.

No. Current price, availability, MOQ, tooling or prototype work, and lead time require a quotation for the exact configuration, quantity, destination, and delivery scope.
